Assistant Installation Technician.
Are you an independent installation technician with experience in security technology? At Solid Systems, you will work on reliable security systems for a wide range of clients. You will install, maintain, and carefully commission systems. In doing so, you work independently, maintain an overview, and ensure the quality that clients can rely on.
What will you be doing?
Together with an experienced technician, you will assist with:
- Pulling cables
- Mounting and finishing installations
- Installing intrusion and camera systems
- Connecting and programming systems
- Observing, asking questions, and becoming increasingly independent
What does your development look like?
Year 1 – Shadowing & Learning
- Learning all basic tasks in practice
- Daily guidance from experienced professionals
- Reading drawings and understanding systems
Year 2 – Deepening & Training
- Performing tasks with increasing independence
- Starting or completing your MBV diploma (Security Systems Technician)
- Full progression to Security Installation Technician or one of our other specializations
You will follow:
- Internal practical training
- On-site guidance from professionals
- Training towards MBV certification
What do we offer you?
- Starting salary of €2,956, increasing to €3,063 gross per month after 6 months (based on full-time)
- 25 vacation days + 13 ADV days (full-time)

Sometimes away from home for a few days
For some projects, you will work further from home, including abroad. You will be traveling 20–30% of the year on average. Don't worry, we take care of everything:
- Hotel stay + breakfast fully provided
- €80 net per day for food and other expenses
- €25 gross per night as an extra bonus
Who are you?
- You find technology interesting (experience is a plus, but not a requirement)
- Willing to travel 20–30% of the year
- Motivated and eager to learn
- Neat, responsible, and eager to learn
- Speak Dutch or English
- Want to learn a trade and grow into a technician role
- A driver's license (Category B) is a plus (You are expected in Werkendam daily)
Location?
- Based in Werkendam
Don't have a driver's license? No problem, as long as you live in the region and can get to the office on your own.
